Specialties: Engaging branded content, surprising visuals, quirky characters
Noah Readhead is a director and DP with a diverse creative background that has shaped him into the artist he is. As an editor for advertising agencies, including Osborn Barr + Paramore, Rodgers Townsend/DDB and FleishmanHillard, his work on AT&T’s “Pledge Radio” earned him a shortlist at Cannes and a Bronze Clio in 2016. He cut additional campaigns for AT&T starring Chris Gardner, Great Clips social content starring Tony Hawk and Krispy Kreme campaigns starring Shaquille O’Neal, to name a few.
In 2021, he made the full transition away from post-production to focus more seriously on cinematography. His commercial DP work includes projects for notable brands like Busch Beer, Buffalo Wild Wings, Caterpillar, Keurig Dr. Pepper, Nature’s Miracle, Purina and Verizon.
He expanded his portfolio by filming episodic series for networks like BET (“I Went Viral” and “Finding”), ESPN “30 for 30,” MLB Network “Jackie Robinson’s Debut” and Netflix “Say I Do.” BET’s “Finding: J-Kwon” has 2.9 million views on YouTube alone and BET’s “I Went Viral: Elijah Connors” has 1.8 million views.
Noah DP’ed portions of the Verizon Wireless documentary “The Team That Wouldn’t Be Here,” executive produced by Peter Berg. It aired on CBS immediately after the Super Bowl in 2019. In 2021, Noah’s involvement in “Mau,” a feature documentary about Bruce Mau’s visionary artistry, earned him a SXSW stripe. That same year, Noah’s film “Potentially Dangerous” won the Russo Brothers Film Forum, attracting the attention of John Turturro, who signed on as the Executive Producer. This collaboration led to a 3-year PBS deal for the film in 2022. Finally, in 2023, Noah, along with business partner Matt Richmond, achieved a significant milestone by Oscar-qualifying with the short documentary “George.”
As a director, Noah focuses primarily on commercial and branded content. He’s directed pieces for Fancy Feast, Krug Champagne, HypeBeast, MLB, and Playstation. He seamlessly merges technical expertise with artistic finesse. He thrives on transforming ordinary messages into memorable works of art. Noah’s dedication to visual storytelling and his unique blend of technical prowess and artistic vision distinguish his work, turning client briefs into unforgettable visual stories.
