Ferdinand’s Guide to Grief

A deeply moving visual poetry project created to honor the 10th anniversary of Michael Brown Jr.’s death in Ferguson, Missouri. The film weaves together poetry, archival footage and intimate interviews with Brown’s family and other members of the Ferguson community. Premiering at the 2024 St. Louis International Film Festival, Ferdinand’s Guide to Grief is both a reflection on loss and a celebration of resilience.
